| Hi Colin,
This is from the office hence need to email you this way - don't have your contact address with me! Just found your new entry on this site - excellent little job, which I like very much - would have been even better if you had done it in 009.........!
I might be asking you lots of stupid sounding questions in due course to get a better feel for the MDF/foamboard foundations that you mention under the track - and some more details about the sector plate. I like the concept and am gestating a couple of ideas - ideal potential for the "get something running" school of thought. Good stuff and thanks - I think I am about the 2nd to visit the site from the "hit counters" against the photos.
You have certainly been busy in the e-world the last few days, but don't travel to the North East unescorted - there's a teenager up there feeling unloved who might be looking for you!
I'll catch up with you via more conventional communication means!

| Hi, I was searching for ideas when I came across your pics. I was planning on using the Ikea "FIRA" set of three draws to make a self contained shunting layout, origionally in N, but looking at your pics, it might possible in OO? Your layout looks really really good and is a great inspiration for getting on with my idea. the rust on the fence at the bacl looks superb, and a great use of an actual pics for the backscene, Have you thought about sending it off to a Magazine?? e.g. Rail Express Modeller??? it would read well in there??
Thank you for sharing the boxfile layout,
Alex |
