Just about everything has changed, cab roof lowered, bonnet extended, new chassis.

The coupler pockets are from the Sidelines range, whilst the new chassis is from the Dapol 04 kit.

A look at the cab, I removed the old door to show a detailed interior.

Most of the accessories are again Sidelines castings.

I added bolt heads from slithers of plastic rod in two sizes.

The exhaust is a length of brass tube, I need to add a grille after painting.

7th November: A coat of paint (or two or three) makes a lot of difference.

11th November: With the wheels now in place, weathering was next on the agenda.

The weathering consists of a wash of light blue to fade the colour, then drybrushing with various shades.

The eagle eyed will spot a replacement pin on the rear wheel. I'n not sure where the original went!

1st January: Pretty much complete, the loco sits on a micro-diorama.

The cab interior components have now all been fitted in place.
